| 1969 Chevy Corvette coupe, rare Daytona Yellow, rebuilt 454 V-8, 4spd. 1969 Corvette Stingray coupe that is drop-dead gorgeous, refinished correctly rare 984 code Daytona Yellow, that has an awesome running fully rebuilt, period correct, 454 big block LS-5 V-8, 4spd, ps, pb, tilt-tele, leather seats and so much more. This 1969 Corvette has been completely restored and just needs some very minor finishing touches to fully complete the restoration (all new oem parts are included to finish). This particular 69 Corvette has been with its current owner since 2000 and has had a fortune invested into it to get to this point. The Details: This 1969 Corvette has been treated to a recent high-quality cosmetic restoration. It is an original 984 paint code correct Daytona Yellow example that has been refinished to factory correct color codes. The no-hit, pin straight body was completely stripped to down to the gel-coat and was expertly prepped for paint by an expert Corvette restorer. The paint was refinished to a gorgeous show quality blemish-free base/clear urethane that is simply breathtaking just look at the pix. Paint and body work alone were over 15k to complete. In the process all the chrome, stainless trim, emblems were either replaced or show quality re-chromed with factory correct new OEM parts. There is all new weather stripping and clean date coded Astro vent glass installed thru-out. The mint 15” rally steel wheels were refinished, new center caps and new BF Goodrich TA’s that give it that nice stock appearance. The exterior restoration is spectacular no doubt a show stopper. The interior has been redone to factory specs. The seats were redone in black leather with all new foam, new correct seat belts, new carpets and door panels, new dash, console and bezels. Needs some minor touches to complete the interior but every single new oem parts is already included in the sale. The excellent solid frame was wire brushed and chassis black (por 15) preserved prior to painting a few years ago. Under the factory original 427 big block hood is a nicely detailed engine bay that needs a few minor finishing touches. The Mechanicals: The heart of this 1969 Corvette is its fully rebuilt early 70’s 454 LS-5 V-8 engine with its valuable original stock GM intake manifold and Holley 650 4 barrel carb. with low run time since completion. It is mated to a smooth shifting 4 speed transmission that has an excellent H-Duty clutch installed. The rear is a bullet-proof original 12 bolt posi-traction with 3:73 gears. The dual exhaust is galvanized with new flow masters. The front end was all rebuilt with A-frames repainted, new bushings, ball joints, actuators, control arms etc. The brakes were all redone including new front calipers. New correct working clock installed. Everything works except windshield washers (they will work but are not connected) rear fiber-optics, and temp gauge. All mechanical systems have been gone thru and have been rebuilt or replaced. Shocks have been recently replaced as well. Correct spare tire carrier with a good spare. The 454 LS-5 V-8 big block engine performance is legendary and will leave you breathless this Stingray runs out 100% and is totally turn-key. This is one of the best driving, performing 69’s you will find and is an absolute dream to drive.
