1968 Chevy Corvette with a 95% restored frame and suspension. Rust free. California frame. All new suspension springs, bushings, wheel bearings, shocks, rear fiberglass mono-spring and trailing arms as well as A-frame bushings. New gas tank. Frame, A-frame and Drive Shaft all sand blasted and repainted. New u-joints. All new brake rotors. Stainless steel calipers. New 2.5" complete exhaust, aluminized pipes, mufflers and crome tips. Factory rally wheels with new 15" good-year eagle ST II tires. New Hayes clutch. Oversize front and rear sway bar kit. New 4-core radiator. New radiator hoses. The engine is a 327 350 HP, all rebuilt with rebuilt heads with hardened valve seats and new valves. New cam and lifters. New pistons. Polished crank. Quadrajet carb rebuilt. New aluminum valve covers, 1969. New air breather assembly. Power steering pump cylinder, and steering valve have not been rebuilt. This is not a "numbers matching" car. The engine is stamped with the proper numbers and dated correctly for 1968 build. The interior is removed from the car. I have the seats and bumpers. It has a big block frame and a 427 style hood. When I started rebuilding this car, I couldn't find anyone to tell me if it was actually a big-block car or small block. There is damage to the seams on the front fenders. The seams have broken loose. I believe it is repairable. This will be a great driving car when completed. The frame, engine and suspension is immaculate. 126,044 miles. July 7, 2008.
