STUNNING LOOKING 1972 CORVETTE STINGRAY COUPE, A REAL 454CI BIG BLOCK W-CODE CAR WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION THAT IS TURN-KEY AND READY TO HIT THE ROAD ROARING. ONE OF THE TIGHTEST & NICEST 72s I'VE DRIVEN IN A LONG TIME. NICELY EQUIPPED AND READY TO DRIVE ON THE STREET OR ON THE TRACK! A TON OF FUN. Factory Options: Manual steering (had power steering that has been disconnected), Power disc brakes, BIG BLOCK 454ci motor (balanced and blueprinted crate LS6 450+hp), Automatic transmission, Corvette Rally wheels, Custom sidepipes, Rear spoiler (removable if desired), Tilt/telescoping steering column, Custom suspension upgrades, 3500 Stall converter, 4:11 gear ratio. Vehicle comes from Ohio where it has been garage kept and owned by the last owner for a few years. The car has gone through an aesthetic restoration that includes bodywork/paint in within the last few years, some interior work including carpeting, dash and other minor things. Motor has been completely balanced and blueprintd, and transmission rebuilt a few years ago that shifts great. Brakes have been overhauld. NEW wheels/tires not too long ago. NEW suspension pieces all over within the last few years. Overall a total of close to $20k have been spent on this Stingray to make it the stunner it is today. Since the last couple of years, the car has been shown at local shows and cruise nights, always gathering a crowd. Interior is in GOOD to VERY GOOD condition with only normal wear here and there. Carpeting is nice & presentable. Seats very nice with no rips that I could see. Door panels very clean and a great dash pad in very good shape. As you can see the shifter plate and e-brake have been removed but nothing has been cut underneath. The center console gauges are also custom, but again, nothing has been cut and you can easily put it back. Under the hood lies a nearly new CRATE 454ci LS-6 motor with 450hp from the factory. Once motor was purchased, T&H Racing Engines out of Ohio balanced and blueprinted the motor, added HEI for better spark, connected the side exhaust and basically fine-tuned the motor as best as they could, all done professionally. The motor also had a new Edelbrock Performance intake added, as well as Holley 750cfm carburetor, along with HEI ignition and competition spark plugs/wires. The car is TURN-KEY with mild racing camshaft and SO MUCH TORQUE it's almost SCARY!!!. Mechanically the car is TURN-KEY. Starts at the turn of the key and runs/drives great. Lots of power and great acceleration as you would expect an LS-6 powered Corvette. Easy to drive and brakes stop the car very well. Not much more I can say, just get in and drive her! I've d driven it around town and on the highway and this car HAULS BUTT! Gears shift seamlessly and it's a ton of fun to drive, as it has some SERIOUS get up and go, although it's comfortable enough going cruising or in traffic. ONE OF THE NICEST AND TIGHTEST 72 STINGRAY BIG BLOCKS YOU'll FIND OUT THERE FOR THE MONEY. Underside is VERY NICE with ROCK SOLID frame and floorboards throughout. VERY NICE windshield pillars and nice birdcage. The rear sections of the frame in front of the rear tires have had two metal patches welded at one time. Welding work was done very well and it's extremely solid. This is a garaged Ohio car, and it shows. Paint shines up BEAUTIFULLY and is VERY CLEAN for a high-end driver with only very minor imperfections. Power steering not connected but all is there. The car also has LINE LOCK which has not been connected. Missing: rearview mirror, sunvisors, spare/carrier, wiper motor, e-brake, heater accessories. Not working: wipers, e-brake, heater, speedometer (needs new cable), headlights (need new vacuum lines), horn. Couple of small fiberglass cracks (one by lower front valence, and another by driver's side door jamb. Could use electric fan installed as it gets pretty hot when idling in traffic. Outside side mirror has crack in glass. Steering box has some play in it. That's about all I was able to notice from my inspection. It may need a few other tiny things as any other used car. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING LOOKING AND RIDICULOUSLY POWERFUL 1972 CORVETTE STINGRAY FACTORY W-CODE 454CI BIG BLOCK CAR THAT IS ABSOLUTELY TURN-KEY AND READY TO TEAR ASPHALT. 63,600 miles.
