Car history:
As far as best can be determined this is one of the 240 factory air conditioned 1972 LT-1 Corvettes. It is an extremely rare car and quite highly optioned with PS, PB, Tilt/Tele column and of course the air conditioning. It has an immaculate frame that was wire brushed and painted while on the car. It has new base coat/clear coat Warbonnet Yellow paint (code 989) and a nice saddle vinyl interior (code 417) with new carpeting. The original door tag is on the car and of course the "L" in the VIN# documents that it is an LT-1 car. The engine runs strong, but it is NOT the original engine. The transmission, brakes, clutch and rear end are all in good shape. The headlights and wiper door work, but it needs a new wiper motor. The tach and speedo both work, but the lesser gauges do not. All the A/C components are on the car. I have not put the LT-1 stripes back on the hood. This is a nice corvette, not a show car, but an ultra rare one. 10,700 miles. November 17, 2009.
