| You are bidding on a 1972 Corvette that is an original untouched car that has 68,000 original miles and was a one-owner. The car is Elkhart Green with tan interior and has alot of options which are power steering, brakes, air conditioning, tilt-telescopic wheel, pop-out back glass, and leather seats. Everything looks correct on the car and seems to be untouched and original. It is a matching # car and has paperwork to go along with it including title, protect-o-plate, owners manual and other things as well. The exterior on the car looks to still have the original paint so you can see all of the bonding strips so you can tell the car has never been hit and had any replacement panels. The paint on the car is cracking and is showing its age so I would definately have the car reshot if I wanted to make it nice. The front spoiler has a couple of small cracks and there is one right on the edge of the passenger front fender and a chip out of the passenger door right next to the door handle but nothing major at all. All of the glass is good with no track marks, the bumpers are driver quality but starting to get thin in places. Everything seems to work along with the lights, wipercowl, A/C and windows. The interior in the car is nice but starting to show age as well, the carpet is descent shape and the leather seats are starting to crack in places as well. Door panels have the typical small cracks where your elbow would rest and the wood trim is faded. The cluster is very nice and clear and the dash is good with no cracks. The under carriage on the car is clean and has no rot but does have some surface rust as you can see but could easily clean up very well. I did replace all of the calipers since the car had been sitting so the brakes are good. Engine compartment is clean and original as well and is all there. The car runs and drives well and mechanically seems fine with no smoking or problems to be found. The automatic choke still works and the car sounds great. This is a very good car for a restoration or put a paint job on it and just drive and enjoy it, my plan was to restore it to new condition but I have moved on two other restorations so I will let someone else enjoy this one.
