Where to begin....I bought this off a kid in 1998 who had wrecked the front end
and had torn most of it off when I bought it. Brought it home and stripped it to the
frame. Could see the frame was tweaked so took it to a local frame and alignment
shop (who has been racing corvettes for many years) and they got the frame back
in spec. The frame then went to Cincinnati and was dipped, etched, and painted.
Home for reassembly and from the ground up to what you see has either been
rebuilt or replaced. I have a hair over $5,400 in receipts which I have copied into
a pdf file which I can email to you. The 350 that is sitting in it came out of a '70
pickup. It is a 4-bolt main, with solid lifters and was built to be 400+ HP. It is
coupled to a newly rebuilt 700R4 transmission. If you look close at the right front
a-frame you can see an electric fuel pump sitting there. Due to sitting I believe
the diaphram in the fuel pump has given up. Hooked up the electric pump the
other day, hot wired the ignition and it fired right of and ran well. Sounds good
with the open headers as well. The suspension has been completely replaced, the
fuel tank sealed coated outside. After I had the frame painted I took it to my local
Ziebart rust proofing guys and had them coat it inside and out. I wasn't making a
show car I wanted something to drive. I have acquired the front end off of a '74
which is sort of a jigsaw puzzle project but it was all there and had a lot of stuff I
was missing like the grilles. The spare blue doors and hood are also off the '74.
The '74 hood is cowl induction and is all there. Don't think the air cover lid is in
the pics but I have it. I have repaired some cracks that were in the floor and
some other places. The body is no creampuff but from the body down is brand
new. Great story from the '74....as you can see from the body parts it was very
rough...it came out of Michigan as was so rusted when I loaded it onto the trailer
the left side frame broke completely in half and the right side was hanging on by a
thread. Almost didn't have to tie it down...it couldn't go anywhere. The pics
underneath are not the greatest...tough to do from a jack.

I wanted to add to this:...... while the car at this point will start and run it won't
move. When forward progress stopped I was in the middle of hooking up the
linkage to the 700R4....I had bought a kit from Eklers, Zip or someone and was
going to have the driveshaft made to mate the 700R4 to the rear end. That never
got completed. Just wanted that clear.
