| 1968 Corvette Coupe T-Top with a 350 engine and 4-speed manual Transmission. I also found a plate in the door jamb that says Chevrolet 425 Trim 420 983 Paint. The speedometer says 55,xxx miles but the true millage is unknown as I do not know how many miles are really on the car. The Speedometer does work but the tachometer does not as it will not work with this motor. Many of the interior gauges have been replaced but have not been hooked up. Motor is not the original one to the car but runs strong. The car is white with a black interior. It has had a lot of work done on it but needs some more work and parts. It has had a lot of work done underneath it and some interior work. We had the seats recovered recently which cost $600. We have spent thousands into it and do not have the time or room for it anymore. It does need some body work and paint. The interior also needs some work, we have replaced a lot of parts though including some of the console and put brand new carpet in it and replaced the storage compartment doors. The car originally had a/c in it but is no longer there. We bought a new kit but never installed it. We just picked it up front the shop and had a $1000 worth of work done to it. We had the water pump changed, the speedometer gear in the transmission replaced, the master cylinder replaced and brakes bled along with a few other things. The car has many new parts such as the headlight and windshield wiper door vacuum canisters. The nose on the car is from a 427, not sure what year though; we bought it this way a few years ago. I do not have much history on the car. Car is currently registered and has just passed the state inspection so it can be driven on the road legally. 55,300 miles. September 15, 2008. |
