AN ALL ORIGINAL IN VERY GOOD CONDITION 1969 CHEVY CORVETTE. This vintage car was purchased by the present owner in 1974. At that time it had 67,000 miles on it and was tuxedo black. In 1978 the car was painted Corvette Silver. This process included 22 coats of acrylic and hand sanding with every coat. The car has been garaged since 1976. It was driven one winter (1974). The Engine is a 350 cubic inch engine, 380 Horsepower with 11:1 compression ratio. The transmission is a 4 speed. The body style is convertible. Interior is saddle with no power windows, no power steering and no power brakes. The brakes are stainless steel. Additionally, this corvette has a white convertible top which was added in the early 1980's, am/fm radio, side louver trim and alarm. when I bought it in '74 it was tuxedo black. it was stripped & painted Cortez Silver (acrylic laquer) in late 70's. tired of spending an hour washing & wiping & polishing only to have it dirty again in 30 seconds like it was never cleaned. Hardly even notice when Cortez Silver is dusty, hides dust & dirt very well. I was young at that time so it must have really upset me to do that. It runs and drives very well. 98,000 miles.
