Car history:
Stunning 1969 Corvette 427 Coupe. We have the car on consignment from a local, private owner. He has owned the car for a 12 years and performed much of its meticulous, body off restoration. It is a high quality, body off restoration that is immaculately clean and well kept. It is as beautiful underneath as it is on top! He stated most of the work was done in the late 2000's with under 1,000 miles since completion. He has extensive documentation and estimates over $70,000 was spent on the restoration alone! It is a documented 427-390hp coupe with its original build sheet. It features a correct Chevrolet big block 427, TH400 automatic transmission, power steering, power 4-wheel disc brakes, tilt steering wheel, power windows, leather seat upholstery, custom steering wheel, rally wheels, factory side exhaust and radial redline tires. Virtually every piece of chrome and trim has been show plated or polished. It has extensive chrome engine and suspension components. The frame has been powder coated. The body and frame are solid and laser straight. The underbody is show detailed in every aspect with gorgeous chrome components. It is finished in its original Daytona Yellow. The exterior paintwork is excellent and maintains an incredible, shiny finish. It was completely disassembled prior to being painted. All weatherstripping was also replaced. The interior was restored to mostly stock specifications. It is all new or restored with no rips, cracks or tears in the seat upholstery, carpets or headliner. It has soft black leather seat upholstery. It has a custom leather wrapped steering wheel but the original steering wheel is included. All of its gauges have been completed restored and are fully functional. It has a custom AM/FM stereo with AUX port. It's equipped with a correct Chevrolet 427-390hp big block V8 engine and TH400 automatic transmission. Both have been completely rebuilt. The car is in excellent running and driving condition. The brakes and suspension have also been completely rebuilt and are in excellent working condition. The engine and compartment are very clean and show detailed. Overall, the car is a high quality restoration ready for show or touring. Certainly tens of thousands dollars are evident its quality restoration. While not for the NCRS purist, this car ranks among the finest quality Corvette restorations to be found!! It has won several awards for its quality work. Color codes from the trim plate. Built date is B06. $25,100 and running (RnM). August 15, 2015.
