Car history:
1975 L-48 Corvette Convertible. Dark Red (74L) with Dark Red Vinyl Interior (73V). 350 Automatic with Air Conditioning and Power Windows. One of 646 Convertibles produced in 1975 with optional shoulder harness seat belts. I have just had installed a new A/C compressor, compressor hose assembly, VIR eliminator kit and condenser. Converted to R134. Blows cold air. Headlight doors work as they should. All lights and gauges work except clock. Original radio works well. I have the original owners manual and paperwork for repair and restoration work done by previous owners with a logbook that shows repairs etc. back to 1986. Among those bills is one for a repaint in 2005, new top and Al Conch interior in January 2011. (Carpet, Door and Side Panels.) There also shows a top end rebuild with new cam and lifters and reconditioned heads in January 2011. Transmission was rebuilt in February 2011 also. I believe those to be correct as the old car runs out strong and shifts good. The paint is driver quality with only a couple of small chips. I had a new caliper installed on the right front and changed the valve cover gaskets that were leaking. The car has a small oil spot after sitting in the garage for a few days. Pictures of the underside are the best I could do witout a rack. This is NOT a show car, but a nice driver.
