| Car history: |
This is a 1977 Corvette that I’m listing for a friend. His health has caused him to be unable to finish the project. The engine, transmission and rear axle have been rebuilt and have less than 500 miles on them. The tires and wheels are new and were replaced about that same time. I was told they are American Racing wheels but you need to check them yourself. I’m listing a few of the modifications as I was told that were made to the engine. It’s a 350 V8 with a mild roller cam, vortec heads, aluminum intake, 600 Holley carb along with hooker headers. Originally I was told it had a 1972 front clip. I now believe it is an Ecklers front clip with a new cost of about $1,600.00. It's just sitting in place and is not bonded in yet! The car comes with two hoods. The second hood looks like an Ecklers L-88 unit that sells new for $686.00. You can see in one of the pics NEW lower rocker guards. I unboxed them just for the pic. They cost him $300.00. The interior is black and the seats look to be in good shape. It does need carpet and a radio. The rear plastic bumper fascia will need to be replaced. He had planned on replacing it with a fiberglass one. I cleaned it up some, added a battery and it cranked right up. I drive it out of the shop and continued to let it run for better than 30 minutes. It sounds pretty good. It comes with some fiberglass resin, NEW rear window trim and NEW hood hinges. The car is a project and is sold “as is”. The title is in hand.
