Car history:
2) TONS OF NEW PARTS THAT HAS BEEN COSMETICALLY AND MECHANICALLY REDONE IN THE PAST FEW YEARS WITH 70K MILES ON THE ODOMETER!
FACTORY OPTIONS: Manual steering, manual brakes, Standard interior, 4 speed close-ratio transmission, Rally wheels. The car comes from the Northeast, where it has been owned by previous owner for the last few years. TONS of work done to this Corvette, including a freshly built 383 STROKER motor built with a whole lot of performance internal components (paperwork included for professional installation and parts put into the motor). Exhaust/mufflers, e-brake, some parts of the brake system, front A-arms and many other suspension components have been replaced within the last few years, so the car RIDES VERY TIGHT! Recently I have installed a newer interior and convertible top and the car looks killer! Rear spring and sway bars & end links are all new as well. I have a folder half an inch thick full of receipts for parts and work performed! Interior is MOSTLY NEW. Seats have just been reupholstered. Carpet is new. Door panels and dash were redone some years ago and look very good overall. Overall beautifully presentable and cleans up very well as you can see in the pictures. Motor has close to 375/400hp and it does NOT like to go slow at all, in fact past 2500 rpm you can really feel it driving you back in your seat. Lots of factory power and great on the road. Brakes stop WELL (although pedal is a little spongy at times) and steering is nice and responsive without too much play in the wheel. Transmission shifts great and there are NO noises coming from the rear end. Underside has a VERY SOLID frame, chassis, birdcage and windshield pillar posts. Some minor surface rust underneath, but that's about it. SOLID floors as well from what I could see. Here's a list of small things needing attention. The front end is from a stock 73 as you can see (i crawled under the car for an hour trying to find any chassis damage but did NOT see any). Paint is older and driver quality (cleans up very well with general knicks/small scratches/couple of tiny dings and some touch-ups here and there). I've had my body guy lightly wetsand and buff it out and it looks great for a very nice driver. One brake caliper is leaking a little and should be replaced. Not working: clock, couple of smaller gauges not very accurate and perhaps a bulb or two may need replacing. Radiator overflow bottle needs replacing as it has a small leak at the bottom. Convertible top has one tiny 1" cut by rear driver's side. Missing: spare tire & carrier, hood release cable. That's about all I was able to find during my inspection. 70,500 miles. May 1, 2009.
1) There is so much money in this car its restoration is nearly done. Big block suspension which is brand new, stickers are still on it. I have all the papers to prove it. 350 with 383 stroker kit professionally installed buy the machine shop (papers to prove it). It has a 1973 front clip unfortunately. I don't know why it is there but there is NO frame or birdcage damage. It has a 4 speed muncie that shifts well with no leaks, new pirelli tires and rally rims. Needs very little I would change the carpet and seat covers they are original and have flaws here and there. The engine has 300 miles on it since the rebuild. The top is in good shape, it is missing one retainer to hold the rear driver side down. The exhaust is brand new, flowmaster 2 chamber, ceramic headers and all new gaskets. HEI ignition converted from the outdated points. The front A arms are new as well as the entire brake system, new e-brake as well. Paint is older and driver quality. Colors from the owner. Built date is F02. 70,500 miles. March 3, 2009.
