05/29/2014 I am listing this for a friend. I have the car in my possession at the moment for listing purposes. 1976 C3 Corvette Base coupe, L-48 350 engine with automatic transmission. My friend has owned it for about 11 years. He purchased as a weekend cruiser, and has only put about 8,000 miles on it since he bought it. Has had much done to it in that time. Most of the time it sits in his garage under a car cover. Here is a partial list of the work done. The entire front end was rebuilt, new A arm bushings, sway bar bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends and idlers, shocks, front hubs and rotor, all new brakes front and rear $2300.00 New power window switches $50.00 Rebuilt cruise control transducer and speedo cable $125.00 New motor mount safety brackets Front rubber nose was repainted and new lower spoiler replaced New door sill plates $55.00 New chrome lower rocker panels $300.00 New sun visors $60.00 New dash pad $400.00 New E-brake center console $85.00 New floor mats $92.00 New tail light lenses and reverses lenses $210.00 Tote for the T-Tops $100.00 New 6X9 speakers and speaker wedges $200.00 New chrome valve covers and air cleaner housing New heater control valve New T/A radials (still 75 percent or better) Cotton car cover I know that I have missed a bunch that he has done to the car, but this is what I was able to pull from his reciepts for some of the work done. Car looks and drives great. Paint nice and shiny, Sounds healthy, has been in numerous car shows. Handles well, has a sound system in it, and as I said has been kept in the garage for last 11 years. I don't have much on prior history though I do know he is the third owner. I am located in the California foothills, roughly 1 hour due east of Stockton. I apologize for some of the pics, I live on a gravel road and car gets dusty quick. Paint is nice and shiny typically. This is a really clean car! It does have a couple of minor things that need repair to make it a 10. Heater core, A/C system problem, (did work a couple of years ago) and a trans leak, not sure if it is the pan or front pump seal. Does leave a spot on garage floor occasionally. Registration was just renewed until April 2015. This car is exceptionally clean, I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere. The owner is very meticoulous with his vehicles and this shows it. It does have a couple of minor issues that are readily repairable. It is just time for a change, he has his eye on another car and needs the room in the garage.
