2) I'm selling my 1969 Corvette Stingray Project car. Car has a 454 factory replacement block from 1971. The internals are factory Gm 427 parts. Factory domed pistons and rods. The heads are closed chambered 1971 big valve rectangle port heads. The cam is Solid lifter and specs are unknown. Motor is incredibly clean and looks to be very low mileage. We opened being told it was a 468 but after running part numbers turns out it has 427 internals. Currently doesn't run. It is not complete so will need to be completed. Transmission is a Muncie m-21 close ratio 4 speed. Has scatter shield, brand new hays flywheel, and McCloud clutch assembly. We were told the car had 4.11 gears but we never checked. Body is in good shape. T-top car. Original Red car with black interior. 90 per cent of the interior is there but needs tlc does come with door panels. Frame and chassis are in great shape no rust or rot but the floor on the drivers side needs repaired as it is cracked. Original suspension with brand new front hubs and brand new brake calipers, drilled and slotted rotors (front and rear), and new braided brake lines and new master cylinder. Has brand new wiring harness under the hood with electric converted headlights. Has a bunch of new parts. Comes with brand new weather stripping, door sills, key locks, door handles, ect. Car is 95 there. Doesn't come with a hood. I'm moving out of the garage I keep it in. Wanting to sell. It's a project and needs to be completed. Located 08865 NJ. Clean & clear title in my name. $8,900 (RnM) on December 28, 2017. Sold for $10,000 on February 4, 2018. 1) HERE IS A TRUE BARN FIND 1969 CHEVY CORVETTE 454 BIG BLOCK. THE CAR HAS BEEN SITTING IN A BARN SINCE 1983. THE STORY OF THE CAR IS IT WAS OWNED BY A GUY THAT WAS INTO FAST CARS. HE WAS GETTING THE CAR PREPED FOR PAINT AND SUDDENLY PASSED AWAY. THE CAR WAS KEPT IN THE FAMILY ALL THESE YEARS. ALL THE CHROME WAS TAKEN OFF THE CAR AND IT WAS NEVER FINISHED. WE BOUGHT THE CAR AND FLAT BEDDED IT BACK TO OUR LOCATION. WE PUT NEW WIRES AND A DIST. ON THE CAR AND WITH SOME FRESH GAS IT FIRED RIGHT UP AND RAN GREAT. IT HAS MANY PARTS IN A BOX THAT GOES WITH THE CAR. THIS IS A GREAT PROJECT FOR A FATHER AND SON THAT WANT TO HAVE A REAL NICE CAR WHEN FINISHED. THE EXTERIOR OF THE CAR IS IN NICE SHAPE WITH JUST A LITTLE SANDING WILL BE READY FOR PAINT. THE 454 MOTOR RUNS NICE AND CAN USE SOME ATTENTION TO DETAIL. IT HAS A 410 GEAR. AT ONE POINT THE CAR WAS A 4SPD AND CONVERTED OVER TO A 400 TURBO AUTOMATIC. WE WERE ABLE TO GET THE M-22 ROCK CRUSHER 4SPD THAT WAS IN THE SAME BARN THAT WILL GO WITH THE CAR. HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO BUILD A PROJECT THAT YOU CAN BE PROUD OF ONCE YOUR DONE. THIS IS THE KIND OF RESTO THAT WILL BUILD STORIES FOR YEARS TO COME. $8,000. July 8, 2015. |
