Car history:
1979 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray L-48 T-top with 68,184 Miles. Originally Corvette Dark Blue (83). This 1979 Corvette is overall a sharp car inside & out that has not been winter driven or mistreated in its life. The car recently has been looked over well and tested for any troubles it may have, which on a positive note is a small list. The few things I have spotted that are not okay or working properly are: front nose piece has several cracks on both center nose and driver side corner, factory clock not turning, light bubbling on vinyl t-top cover inside & defroster switch is sticky. Other than that everything else is correct. I will say this car is truely a dependable running & driving Corvette that does look & sound nice as well. The factory 350 V8 has been pulled once for a mild cam installation, mallory ignition system & chrome valve covers added also. The motor runs smooth with no shakes or misses with a nice lope in the cam. The transmission has never been rebuilt and operates properly. The interior is clean overall, the seats look new, doors are solid, door panels are clean, dash is not cracked, power windows work (little slow), heat blows hot, cd player jams and all instruments working besides clock. The signals, headlights, tail lights and brake lights work perfect. Overall this car would need no work and you would have no worries driving this car home.
