| Car history: |
This is a low miles (30,889) numbers matching 1971 Corvette Convertable. It is a White (code 905) with black top and black interior (code 400) original with the base 270hp 350 cid small block and automatic transmission.
The car recently went through a complete body off restoration. It has only been driven three times since it was restored. It is in super condition, nice paint, interior is like new, top appears to be new as well. Car runs very well, starts right up and choke and fast idle work correctly. All brakes and suspension have been rebuilt and it has 4 brand new radials. Engine code and serial number are on the pad on the front of the block but the paint was too thick to get them to show up well in the pictures I took.
The car is equiped with the factory tach and guages, as well as the original radio and an add on aftermarket CD player, and speakers.
The paint is new in the original color, the side vents are painted black/charcoal instead of the original white but there is some of the paint included with the car incase someone wanted to make them look more original. There are just a few things I noticed when looking at he car that are not correct. The windshield has a decorative design etched in the top corners. The carb may be a replacement as the books I have read show the 270 HP motor has a Q-jet specified, also the air cleaner and valve covers are chrome, the original valve covers are included. There is also a small crack behind the drivers door (pictured) about 1 inch long.
If you are looking for a really nice 1971 Corvette Convertable this is it.
