| 01/13/2016 Lot #753 - 1973 L-82 orange and saddle Corvette convertible unrestored with original paint, interior, chassis and engine. This car has 3,700 original documented miles. It has also achieved the highest awards possible in the Corvette hobby. Awards earned include the NCRS 5-Star Bowtie Award, NCRS Duntov Mark of Excellence Award, NCRS Performance Verification Award, several NCRS Top Flight Awards, Bloomington Gold Silver Award. To achieve the NCRS 5-Star Bowtie Award a Corvette has to be judged at least 80-85 percent original in four categories (exterior, interior, chassis and engine). Less than a handful of 1973 Corvettes have earned this prestigious award. However, to achieve both the NCRS Duntov Award and NCRS 5-Star Bowtie Award is incredibly rare, and the amount of original Corvettes to earn both are a select few. The car is optioned with the L-82 350/250hp engine, M21 4-speed manual transmission, custom interior, power windows, air conditioning, power brakes, power steering, AM/FM radio stereo, map light, tilt-telescopic steering and white stripe original steel beleted tires. The black convertible top is also original and in incredible condition. This special 1973 was previously owned by Mike Yager of Mid America Motorworks. The current owner has owned the car for the last 11 years. The car comes complete with the awards including the NCRS 5-Star Bowtie Award plaque and NCRS Duntov Award plaque and ribbons. Also included is original documentation including the original Bill of Sale, Build Sheet, partial Window Sticker, warranty book, owner's manual, odometer certification of inspection, emissions control form, AM/FM radio instruction sheet, Firestone tires booklet and complete owners history.
