| Car history: |
05/27/2014 I have owned the vehicle for the last 10 years and have restored and or improved everything on the car but still maintained it as primarily a numbers matching car. I found this car in Arkansas. It had been in storage by the 2nd owner and was in really good condition. So much so that I purchased it and drove it from Arkansas all the way to my home in Kentucky over 600 miles. Everything worked including the a/c.
I am the 3rd owner and I have documentation and maintenance receipts all the way back to the original purchase. I also have the original build sheet. When I purchased the car it had 65,000 miles on it; it now has a little over 90,000 miles showing now. It has all the original options that the car was built with except the radio which was replaced. The radio is a modern am/fm/cd/ipod compatible/satellite ready unit. Everything is working on the car except the original alarm system.
The car was originally optioned as follows: - Power steering - Power brakes - Power windows - Air conditioning - Tilt Telescopic wheel - Luggage Rack - Alarm system - L-82 350 - M-21, close ratio, 4 speed trans - Positraction with 3:55 ratio - Astro ventilation - Cold air induction - Original glass except windshield which was replaced due to a crack - Exterior Color is Blue Green code 945 - Interior is the custom leather in medium saddle with wood grain accents
After a complete frame on restoration I entered and won the 2010 Cincinnati Cavalcade of Customs. I took 1st place, best in class. I also took two 2nd place trophies in two other shows entered. Documentation and trophies go with the car. I have receipts and build spec sheets for the restoration.
It currently has a Trimec 5 speed transmission and Steeroids rack and pinion steering. There was nothing wrong with the original transmission. I just wanted to lower the rpms at interstate speeds to take it easy on the motor and get better gas mileage. However, I have kept the original M21 4 speed if the purchaser wants to return it to original. Transmission goes with the car. I also have a large amount of parts that go with it as well.
