| Car history: |
Up for sale is a real survivor Corvette convertible with only 43,000 original miles. The car is very original and has #'s matching engine, automatic transmission etc. The Corvette has always been garaged kept. The car is well equipped with factory power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning. The car is very very original and has never been in any accidents. The lines on the Corvette look great and you can see all the factory seams. The convertible top is in very good condition and works well. Everything works - all vacuums work, all lights work, all gauges except factory clock work, original radio works well. The frame and birdcage are super nice with no issues. The paint is mostly original and looks great. The bumpers were redone at some point and truflex bumpers installed. The paint looks great but is not perfect. There are some nicks here and there and it also have some small areas where the original paint is cracking. This is very common on original cars and the paint looks good in my opinion and I didn't ever want to paint it since it was original.
Recently done - I just put approx. $1,500 into the suspension. 1. New power steering hose 2. New rear spindles - right and left 3. New spindle support and spindle flange 4. New front and rear wheel bearings 5. New rear strut rods 6. New rear end cover / gasket / and fluid 7. New parking brake hardware 8. New rear leaf spring bushings 9. New front control arm bushings
Things needed: 1. A/C belt was taken off the car 5 years ago. The a/c compressor probably needs a rebuild. 2. Front carpet drivers side is worn from heal of drivers foot. - Under floor mat and can't be seen unless you move the floor mat. 3. Two rally wheel trim rings have small dents in them - I would replace 4. Engine has never been detailed
