This number's matching example is well-optioned and a pleasure to cruise. This car was sold new at Aero Chevrolet & Recreation Vehicles in Alexandria, Virginia. The car was stored for approximately 20 years. The 41,704 miles are believed original to the car with paperwork down to the original dealer order sheets and maintanance booket. The engine, paint, and interior are original. This is a long-time garaged car. At 39,000 miles, $2,479.21 was spent to get the car in dependable road-going condition. The brakes were replaced throughout along with the tires, engine hoses, brake hoses, and much more. This is a good solid Corvette. The body is original and in exceptional condition. The paint is only fair to good, with a number of scratches and imperfections. It does have a good gloss and curb appeal, but the paint is not high quality. This is a no-hit, exceptional body. The paint is said to be original, never re-painted. This is a good solid driver with a slew of receipts over the years in a big portfolio dating to the original loan and invoices from the dealership in 1976. We have brake jobs performed as well as various maintanence receipts. This is a well-kept example. The engine compartment displays the factory L-48 350 c.i. 4bbl. V8 engine complete down to the cold-air induction breather assembly. The ignition shielding is also in place. Factory features include standard power steering, air conditioning and power 4-wheel disc brakes. The brake system was completely gone through 2,000 miles ago to the tune of replaced calipers, brake lines, rotors, master cylinder, and booster. The interior is original tan buckskin. The dash displays functional factory gauges including the speedometer and tachometer. The original AM/FM Delco radio is also in place as is the center console. This car was ordered with the top-optioned deluxe interior package. This luxurious interior features carpet trimmed door panels along with wood grain accents and other features. The original console is in good condition as is the dash pad. This is a very well- preserved Corvette with original components. It is not restored, but is maintained. The original leather upholstery is also in good condition, showing minimum wear. This interior is especially in good condition for being 37+ years old.
