| 2) Beautiful 68 Convertible, garaged, well maintained and drives great. This is NOT a numbers-matching engine. The original car had the 427 big block. The car now has the small block Chevy 350 that was installed prior to my purchasing the car. It has 85,000 miles on the odometer, but I don't know how many miles were put on after the engine was replaced. The engine runs extremely strong. This car handles 100 mph without a struggle. She is like a smokin' hot 40 year old woman - looks spectacular from a little distance but you see the flaws when you get really close. The headlamp and wiper doors work beautifully. The convertible top is nearly brand new. It has been repainted and looks great from a distance. Up close you can see the overspray. Gages other than the clock and radio work. Brakes are new. Alternator is new. Biggest flaws are in the wiring (sloppy but works) and carpeting (sloppy). I've owned the car for 3-1/2 years and planned to keep it to putter. Two daughters in college have changed cash flow needs, so now I have to sell her. September 17, 2011. 1) 1968 CHEVY CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE.
