Car history:
2) This is my Sweet Frame On Restored 1969 Corvette Convertible in Torch Red with Perfect Black Leather Interior with all newly redone Factory A/C. It has NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT and has all its original fiberglass. The frame is laser straight and rust free. It has new 4 wheel Disc Brakes, no power steering. I have a mint Matching Hard Top that came with it from the factory and the vinyl top is black. It is a new black top but when it was installed it got a rip where it attaches to the frame. It still looks great and is hidden in the seam but just in case I bought a brand new White Top still in the box. I just got this Vette back from my restorer a few weeks ago. The oil, spark plugs, A/C Freon, rear end diff fluid and Tranny fluids were just all changed. The tires are brand new and the factory wheels and centers were restored and look new as well. It has new Torch Red paint that looks great from front to back, Perfect chrome bumpers front and rear, the dash is very nice with no cracks. The wipers are new with new vacuum hardware, the headlights work like they should, the vacuum override switches under the steering column work as well, the factory fiber optics work for all the front lights, the rear fiber optics are not hooked up under the center console (I bet you never knew a 69 Vette had factory Fiber Optics). I had a Tri Power Set up put on that cost $2000 that makes it run great. All the gauges work great except the clock which is a very easy fix. The Tach and Speedo work great as well. I had a real nice Pioneer CD Player installed with Rockford Fozgate front speakers and pioneer rear speakers. It has a remote the fits right over the factory ash tray that you can see in the pics. The 4-Speed shifts very nice and is great with the power this 350 with the TRI POWER produces. I have to say this is one of the nicest Corvette Convertible Stingrays I have ever had. I drove it every day right when I got it from my restorer and it was 70-75 degrees all week long. It is a blast to drive and everyone that saw it said it looked like a brand new Vette. The #'s on the engine pad are 16S128023 & T1031CMJ The Trim Tag #'s are Trim ZQ4 = Black Standard Interior 986 = Silverstone Silver. Now it has New Black Leather Interior and has new Torch Red Paint. According to the Casting #'s on the back of the engine 3970014 it was used in 1970-1973. According to the engine pad it was put in a car October 31 and is a 350 Police Motor that originally had a T400 Tranny. This is a real 4-speed Corvette from the factory. December 2, 2008.
1) WE KNOW IT DOES NOT HAVE A NUMBER MATCHED MOTOR BUT IT IS A 350 WITH DOUBLE HUMP HEADS AND A PRETTY MEAN CAM THE CAR RUNS AND DRIVES FINE TRANS FEELS GOOD NO NOISES FROM DRIVELINE HAS THE HARD TOP AND SOFTOP PACKAGE BODY AND PAINT IS GREAT CHROME ALL LOOKS GOOD INTERIOR NICE WHEELS AND TIRES GREAT.
