Car history:
Seven Hills Motorcars is offering this low mileage 1979 Corvette for sale. This is
an excellent opportunity to own a classic Corvette that is ready to be enjoyed at
an unbeatable value. This car runs and drives well, but has some room left for
improvement by the future owner. It has a beautiful interior and solid frame, but
the paint job is subpar. This car could easily be bought now and sold for a profit
in the spring with minimal work. The clear Ohio title, pictured below, shows the
miles to be "actual." Please peruse the many photos below to get a true sense of
this Corvette.

"The Corvette evolution continues" announced the slogan from the 1979 Corvette
sales catalog. The L-48 engine received the dual-snorkel air intake introduced in
1978 for the optional L82 V-8, which added 10 horsepower. All Corvettes in 1979
now had the high-back bucket seats introduced on the 1978 limited-edition
Indianapolis 500 Pace Car. A higher pivot point allowed the seat backrest fold
more flat and level with the luggage area floor. which drastically improved access
to the rear storage area.

As a side note, this Corvette is not a dealer auction vehicle. We invite and
encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected. Please
take the time to scrutinize each picture. We photograph each vehicle to the
greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a
question about the Corvette, just give us a call.

Exterior
The red exterior paint job looks in person as it does in the photos. It has nice
luster and gloss, but has many imperfections. The paint job appears to be
relatively fresh, but not of the highest quality. There are no major imperfections
that have been excluded from the photos. This Corvette came equipped with
aluminum wheels, which are in nice condition with absolutely no curb rash. The
frame is solid with no rust in front of the rear tires.

Window Date Codes
Windshield: TJ - "T" denotes August and "J" denotes 1978 meaning this piece of
glass was made in August of 1978.

Driver's: UJ - "U" denotes July and "J" denotes 1978 meaning this piece of glass
was made in July of 1978.

Passenger: TJ - "T" denotes August and "J" denotes 1978 meaning this piece of
glass was made in August of 1978.

Rear: IJ - "I" denotes June and "J" denotes 1978 meaning this piece of glass was
made in August of 1978.

Please note that all of the glass on this car is date coded and original as all pieces
predate the car's body build date of September 8, 1978. Original glass is an
indication that this car has had no major accident history and never sustained
significant damage.

Interior
The interior on this Corvette is in excellent driver condition. The black leather
seats show no wear and look literally brand new. The seat is not worn through in
the typical places, such as where the driver gets in and out of the car. The carpet
is in nice condition. This includes the rear carpet with is often neglected. There
are no major rips or stains in the carpet. The aftermarket radio will turn on and
illuminate, but asks for a code, which I do not have. The t-top storage bags are
also included with the car. The interior looks just as good in person as it does in
the photos.

Mechanical
This car is in decent mechanical condition. The car starts right away every time,
runs well, and idles well. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car.
There are no issues that immediately affect the drivability of the car. The car
drives well and it is smooth on the road. The transmission shifts as it should
throughout the power band. With all that said, there is still some work left to be
done to the car. Some of the issues include a loud noises from the starter,
indicating it needs to be adjusted, the weather-stripping, and some leaks. There
are also some options on the car that no longer work such as the clock, blower
motor, misc lights, horn, power locks, driver's window, cruise control, power
antenna, etc. There may be other troubles with the car so I would suggest that
any perspective buyer inspect the car in person if possible. None of the problems
I have noticed make the car unusable in its current state, but in an attempt to be
totally honest I must disclose them.

Overall Condition
Overall this Corvette is in respectable condition. The car would make an excellent
cruiser. It has become a classic Corvette. The value of these later C3 Corvette
has increased rapidly in recent time making these excellent investment vehicles to
own and enjoy. This is an exceptional opportunity to own a vintage Corvette at a
very reasonable price. They are very much fun to drive and own. It is part of the
American dream to own a Corvette. The Corvette always turns heads and is
admired by every car enthusiast.
