| 1) 1969 Corvette Riverside Gold with Black Interior Convertible. 100 per cent Numbers Matching Show Quality. This car has been in the Family since 1988. It is with a heavy heart that I part with this car. I used to have a 1000 sq. ft. garage and now going down to a 1 car garage. In addition, I don't have the time to use it regularly. It is stored covered (Included) with a Corvette Cover. There is also a Vinyl covered Hardtop with a $300.00 Rolling Hardtop Stand included. This was a loaded 1969 Convertible. 4 Speed, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tinted Glass, AM/FM Radio, Alarm System, Vinyl Covered Hardtop, White Stripe Tires. This car has some unique History. It was the January 1993 Car on TRW Pistons Calendar. I have all the documentation showing the invite from TRW, as well as the Calendar. It was also on another Car calendar. This car places 1st in its class in any Corvette Show it has been entered. I cant take this car to the Gas Station or a Cruise In without getting quite a bit of attention. It truly turns heads. My Wife's Cousin (His Baby) purchased this car in Ohio in 1988 and he did a Rotisserie Restoration. The Engine was rebuilt as well as the 4 Speed transmission and Headlight System. I have a big photo album (showing the stages of Restoration/Body being removed) filled with pics. I have another book documenting every matching number on the car. Engine, Trans, Rear, Intake, exhaust manifolds, Distributor, Alternator, Smog Pump, Glass etc. In addition, I have a book full of restoration receipts, as well as others dated prior to 1988 purchase from previous owners. I have owner History dating back to the 2nd owner. We have spoken several times. The 2nd owner recently moved from Ohio to Arizona and wrote a nice note about when he owned this car as a young man. The car spent its whole life within miles of its original Ohio purchase until 2013 when we purchased it and brought it to Naples, Florida. I have put an additional $10,000 plus into it in the last couple of years. New Al Knoch Top, Tires, Exhaust, Radiator, Hoses, Clamps, Battery, Engine Show Detailed, Etc. I have all the Receipts. The Interior is in Amazing Original Condition with the exception of New Seat Covers and Foam several years ago. The Dash, Door Panels, Gages, Steering Wheel, Console, Shifter, Radio, Seats and Headrests, Door Handles, etc. Original Glass, Bumpers (restored/chromed), Air Cleaner (restored/chromed), Chrome, and NOS (4) Trim Rings (These run $750-1,000 alone today) and Center Caps that are Scratch Free! Original Jack. The Rims are Original to the Car. The Body and Gaps and Paint are Incredible as well as the Chrome!! Everything works. All Lights, Directionals, Flashers, Backup Lights, Headlights are nice and (High and Low Beams work) smooth, Wiper Door (Putting Wipers on and Manually with Vacuum), Steering Wheel Lock, Locks, Gages Including (Rebuilt) Clock, AM/FM Radio, Fiber Optics, Interior Lights, License Plate Light. The car was built on (end of Model year) 11/25/1969. Original Trim Tag and Blue Vin Sticker attached. If you are looking for a Really Nice Original Complete Numbers Matching 1969 Corvette Convertible that was Restored and retained as many original parts as possible. This is the Car. You could not restore a car to this caliber today for this money. By the time you find a 100 original car and do the restoration you would easily exceed 50K. I need to sell this car by Mid July. I have over $42,000 into this car. $30,100 and running (RnM) on June 25, 2018. |
