| 1971 Corvette Convertible 350/270hp(CJL)with 4sp M20 manual transmission. Original Brands Hatch Green color with Black deluxe leather seats. Original owners packet including Protecto Plate. Power steering, Original AM/FM radio, rear window defroster, rare on convertibles. The elderly previous owner had this car for 20 years and really took good care of it. The car starts right up and drives almost as new. The 350 V8 is crisp and responsive and the muncie 4sp shifts up and down effortlessly with no slop in the shifter. The steering, brakes and suspension have all been rebuilt and the car handles and rides great. All new stainless brake calipers and lines as well as hoses have also been done. The cosmetics are "driver quality" as the car really needs a repaint due to years of little nicks and scratches. The interior looks original but does show some patina. Overall not bad at all for an unrestored car. Originally a Kentucky car garage kept clean and rust free frame. 99,000 miles. August 20, 2008. |
