| 1) This is not a project car. It is beautiful! One of those cars you look at and just go WOW! I am the third owner. The odometer is correct, only 34k. The story is the original owner blew up the engine and it sat for a long time. No idea what year the engine is. It is not the original block. Rest of the drivetrain is original. The interior is flawless with the exception of a small crack in the console, other than that, perfect. Exterior is beautiful. No chips, scratches, cracks at all. I bought it from my dad and I have owned it for 4 or 5 years now. I paid 35,000 for it. This can be verified by loan docs. The bank loaned me the money after having an appraisal done prior to approval. I have it insured through Grundy Worldwide in the amount of 50k for a total loss. The soft top is new and I have the hardtop for it,(hardtop is missing some mounting hardware). I also have the original wooden steering wheel. I have put less than a thousand miles on it since I bought it. Partly because I live in Oregon and have never driven it in the rain and I have other vehicles that are also fun to drive. Never hot-rodded. Unemployment has forced me to sell. Tough to live in a Corvette. I had this listed previously and ended the listing because I had a local buyer. Miscommunication, he thought it was the original paint. It is not. I repeat, it is not. The factory color was silver and was repainted silver. No bid at starting $25,000 on april 5, 2017. Sold for $25,300 on May 9, 2017. |
