3) A True RARE 1972 Big Block LS5 454 Corvette Stingray Fully loaded! This beautiful 1972 LS5 Corvette Stingray automatic 3-speed is equipped with a rebuilt numbers matching true legend LS5 454 cu & a true big block hood. When you turn the key, the symphony begins. There's just no mistaking the big power and big rumble from a big block that's serenading through a new ALUMINIZED dual exhaust system. The performance cam has a great thump rumble that lets all know this is no beauty queen, but a bad boy that'll back up its menacing stance. The clutch fan has been removed cleaning up the engine the aluminum radiator with dual electric fans keeps it cool no matter what the driving conditions be it highway, stop and go traffic as well as parades. The correct Rochester Q- jet 4-barrel with 2 snorkel GM air cleaner chrome distributer cover keep the stock appearance. Plus PW, PL, T-tops with removable back window, and RARE factory AC and yes POSI-TRAC also has cruise control! Has been stored in a heated garage since 1983! Never has been driven in the rain. There is NO RUST at all! Looks NEW! The short list is rebuilt with performance cam 454 (correct number matching), Petronix ignition, aluminum radiator/ dual fans, balanced driveshaft, new shocks and rear composite springs, New gas tank, chambered exhaust, new tires, quartz clock, battery, new radio with blue tooth/ipod. (has the factory stock look) and speakers front and rear sound bar, new power antenna, custom floor mats with logo embroidered flags (show quality). Perfect front and rear alinement everything works and drives new! Cruise installed by CTV Corvette works. All gauges work and are bright. Headlights doors raise and lower smoothly. The correct Sunflower Yellow paint is older but looks great. Five footer. Chrome hood vents, rear window vent, and fender vents are all new chrome.side rocker panels a bright. The saddle color interior is in very good condition with no fade. There are no cracks or breaks in dash or door panels. The driver's side seat has a worn spot on the tub edging about two inches long. This can be an easy fi (see pics). Has been lovingly maintained and does not have any rust on frame or suspension components. Extremely solid car with no hidden issues. Drives like a dream and sounds mean! Please note all parts that have been removed come with so radio, radiator, fan. BONUS: new passenger side mirror the 72 Stingray did not come with a passenger mirror, but in heavy traffic areas it's almost. Sad but true. New center arm rest pad. Not needed, but nice to have for shows. Plus PW, PL, T-tops with removable back window, and rare factory AC. This is the last year for chrome bumpers front and back, factory dual exhaust, and factory posi-trac. New aluminum radiator and dual electric fans (still have the original radiator and fan). New Cam, alternator, balanced driveshaft, new shocks and rear composite spring. Gas tank replaced, chambered exhaust. New tires with minimal mileage. New radio, quartz clock, and Petronix ignition. The correct Sunflower Yellow paint is older at a 10' rating, but is nice with a good lacquer gloss. Chromed hood vents and fender vents with a nice fit. The Saddle color interior is in very good condition with newer seat leather, clean trunk, solid door panels and original Astro Ventilation glass in doors. Cruise installed by CTV Corvette works. Gauges all work, signals and lights all work. Sound electrical system, headlight doors raise and lower smoothly, vacuum panel that hides wipers raises and lowers smoothly. It has been well maintained. Rumbles nicely with a chambered exhaust. Nice drive, no custom alterations. Has stock road feel. Price reflects need for tune-up on the quadra-jet, electric fan shroud, and bushings and is priced well below fair market value.
