| Car history: |
1980, OFF FRAME T-Top Corvette. (See Pics.). I have over $18,000.00 invested (Have Receipts) but have completely lost interest in finishing it. It has the Ekler Front Clip. It has so many new parts that it would be impossible to remember what they all are. I started this project in 1984 and worked on it off and on between so many other projects I had. As you can see from the pictures how the car has progressed during the restoration. The red pictures are of the car when I first bought it & the last pictures are where it stands right now. It is ready for paint and reassembly of all components. I will list a few of the new items: Carpet, Racing Seats, Dash, Rubber door seals, plus many, many more. Floor boards have been sealed with Heat & Noise Reduction fabric. (See Pics.). Engine & Tranny are out of the car but sells with the car. Engine is a 1984 Hi-Pro Corvette engine with an automatic Tranny. Near new tires. I figure the car is at least 80% complete. Mainly what it needs to be completed is Paint & putting all the parts back in the car including seats, dash, instruments, exhaust, mufflers, etc. Only thing the car is missing that the new owner will need to purchase is the right side (passenger side) window. It got broke during the restoration process. They’re $50.00 at any salvage yard. When completed this will be an AWESOME Corvette. I hate to see it go after all I’ve done to it but I just can’t put any more time in it. My business keeps me too busy. Remember, you must bring trailer as the car is not complete. Engine and Tranny will be on pallets & all other components will be boxed up.
