| December 02,2008 - Restoration is finished. Added last three pictures. October 28, 2008 - Professionaly modified years ago, there are no visible cracks. Done by a shop in Florida owned by a reputable Corvette body specialist. It's hard to tell where it was pieced together. Trim tag tells the car was original Brands Hatch green on green vinyl. 6 month old re-paint in b.a.s.f. urethane, nicely done including jambs with doors off. Underside of L-88 hood has glasurit low sheen black urethane and looks great. Interior needs final details, rubber kit, door panels, felts, upper & rear inside trim. Power windows motors and regulators work. Original soft-ray astro ventilation glass on sides and new green w/blue shade tint windshield. All glass matches in factory green tint. New outer door handles & locks. Seats are 78 with new vinyl. New carpet. Good drivetrain w/new brake master cylinder, calipers, pads, front & rear wheel bearings, upper control arm bushings. good firm ride. Original 350, 3970010, vo824cjk, 270 hp, automatic. has rochester quadrajet, hooker comp headers & hooker sidepipes. Recent tune-up, well maintained motor, no smoke or leaks. Runs, drives & sounds good!! Factory a/c car but no compressor, lines are there. Automatic trans and rear are in excellent condition. fuel tank was recently removed, sent out for cleaning. Re-installed with new sending unit and has fresh 93 octane fuel. The body has a solid cage and frame, not rusted. Owners manual and clean Forida title. June 2008 - Real 71 vette with original drivetrain 350c.i. automatic. Motor runs strong and is fresh re-built to stock. Hooker comp headers and sidepipes. New brake calipers, hoses, master cylinder. Body is ready for paint, and has been professionaly modified. No cracks, frame is solid. Needs windshield and interior needs re-done. L-88 hood, american racing wheels. Body color t-tops. |
