This 1978 Corvette has undergone a complete ground up restoration with over $50,000 (we have receipts) invested. It was purchased three years ago from an individual who was building his dream car that he had planned to use for road racing. It had been in a restoration shop where the suspension and some of the mechanical had been done, but the body work, paint and put together was not. Mechanicals: engine is a stroked 350/383 (440 hp), Monster 700R4, 3 speed overdrive automatic trans, Edelbrock adjustable Pro-Flo Fuel Injection system, tuneable, road race ready suspension, rack and pinion steering, new Hooker headers and chrome side pipes, all new rear-end and bearings, new radiator and electric cooling fan, R134 A/C. Paint & body: Molded wide-body kit, new show qualtiy tri-coat paint (metallic black), scratch resistant clear coat, Boyd Coddington chrome wheels, all new weather strips, security system. Interior: All new leather upholstery, new carpet, new steering wheel and trim panels, white face gages with blue backlighting, new stereo with subwoofer and amp, satellite radio, bluetooth and mp-3 ready. There are only about 2,500 miles on the car since restoration. This is a beautiful, eye catching car and very fast. We cannot keep it since we have limited storage space.
