I am selling my very pampered 1978 25th Silver Anniversary Corvette. This Corvette has 54,333 original miles on it. You will be able to tell right away when driving it that the engine and transmission have been pampered. I am the third owner of this Vet and I have owned it for 7 years. I have the original receipt when the first owner bought this vet in 1978. This Corvette was built in the St. Louis, MO plant. The base model cost $9,445.89 and then the following extras were added and installed in MO: 25th anniversary paint (in excellent condition), Electro-clear rear defogger (works with no problems), Four-season air conditioning (works with no problems), Sport mirrors (in excellent condition), L48 350 Cu. In. V8 engine (in excellent condition and does not leak oil), Four-speed manual transmission (in excellent condition and still shifts very tight, AM/FM stereo CB radio & power antenna (The CB radio is still in its original location), Aluminum wheels (In excellent condition), and black leather bucket seats. The total cost of this Corvette with all of the extras was $11,806.89 in 1978. Since I have owned this Corvette I have only put 5,000 miles on it. The tires are almost brand new. I had it tuned up last year including replacing the spark plugs and wires. The only change that I have made to this all original numbers matching Corvette is a stereo system. The stereo system can easily be removed if the new owner chooses to and reconnect the original AM/FM CB Radio. The new stereo system includes a custom box which holds the two rear Clarion speakers, sub, amp, and Kenwood CD player. There are two more Clarion speakers in the dash where the original speakers were located. The sound system sounds awesome and comes with a remote and Ipod & MP3 player jacks. All mechanical parts of this Corvette are in excellent working condition other then the clock. The clock does not work. The interior is also in excellent condition. I have the original covers for the t-tops. It is a smoke free car. This car will pass emissions and safety inspection with no problems.
