Originally assembled on May 26, 1978, this 1978 Corvette Silver Anniversary L-82 is in nice condition, and comes with plenty of factory options. This car's paint and decals look to be somewhat newer, and are in very good condition with a nice luster and no apparent fading on the decals. All exterior glass in this car shows a correct date code. Weatherstripping on the doors is recent, and is in very good to excellent condition; the rest of the weatherstripping looks to be older, and is in overall good condition. Exterior door handles appear to be original, and are in very good condition. Slotted aluminum wheels are in good condition, and sport brand new center caps in very good to excellent condition. Tires are Goodyear Eagle GT II raised white letter, and show an average of 6/32nds tread depth remaining in the front, and an average of 7/32nds remaining in the rear. The interior of this 1978 Corvette Silver Anniversary L-82 shows what look to be slightly newer leather seat covers in very good condition. Steering wheel looks to have been replaced at some point, and is in overall good condition; gauges are in good to very good condition with minor to moderate fading and very good condition lenses. Door panels are in good to very good condition with no tears and good armrests, and the dash is in very good condition with no cracks or obvious warping. Carpet looks to be an older replacement, and is in good to very good condition with no apparent rotting or worn spots. Storage bins are in very good to excellent condition with no cracks. Center console is in very good condition, and a Pioneer DEH-2000MP CD stereo is currently installed. Rear speakers appear to have been upgraded with aftermarket units. Other additions include a pair of machined door sill plates with "CORVETTE" script, ceramic coated longtube headers, polished dual tip Magnaflow mufflers, polished oil dipstick, and a Flame Thrower distributor cap. The numbers matching engine in this 1978 Corvette Silver Anniversary L-82 shows original casting date May 17, 1978, and final assembly date May 20, 1978. Correct air cleaner, carburetor, intake manifold, air pump, valve covers, and gas cap are in place. Brake master cylinder and cap appear to be recent. Included with this car will be a reproduction owner's manual, t-top bags, and t-top strap. Frame is solid and rust-free. This car has been fully serviced, and all instrument gauges, lights, turn signals, brakes, engine, transmission and rear-end are all in good operating condition.
