| Very nice Corvette. This is a two owner vehicle. The vehicle was repainted by the original owner. I bought and imported this Corvette in 2001 from an individual in Canada. The odometer is in kilometers, and it showed approx. 27,900 kilometers when I purchased the vehicle. It now shows 30,617. The original owner stated the kilometers were accurate. I have no reason to believe different. The vehicle runs very good, with the exception of the air conditioner. I can get the A/C to turn on if I bypass the low pressure switch, but the compressor makes a lot of noise. The paint is 8 out of 10. No spider cracks, but there is a minor scratch, and a few chips. There was a fiberglass repair on the front clip, not noticable unless you really look for it. NO big worries since corvettes don't rust. The paint is very nice and shines like new. One of the rubber bumpers on the front clip has the black rubbed off the top. I pulled in too far in the garaged and the bumper rubbed my compressor, tearing the covering on the top of the bumper piece (can send picture). The car also needs a power antenna. I replaced the original from one off Ebay, but have not been able to get it to work. I also replaced all four brake calipers, the radio, and the front carpet and mats. The seats are very nice, but do have some rub marks. The drivers seat has a very small hole, as it looks like someone sat down with a pen in their back pocket. Not noticable unless you really look for it. That's the bad, now for the good. The car runs and drives great. The engine starts and runs fine. There is no odd noise or rattles. It is a fun, fast great looking car. I need the room in the garage, have too many toys, and wife wants it gone. I just don't drive it as much as I thought I would when I purchased it. It has t-tops, power windows, front and rear spoilers, rear window louvers, a/c, 4spd, 350. I have described this vehicle to the best of my knowledge. I am a car nut, and can say this car is one of the nicer 78's around. It looks great and runs great. With a little TLC it could be like new again. It really needs nothing to cruise around. The radio still works fine, and with the tops out, who needs a/c. This is a no reserve auction. Car needs to go, I just don't have the room for it anymore. |
