Here is a beautifully colored yellow Corvette...this is not your typical bus yellow or cream yellow paint...I call it 'canary' yellow and it looks sweet. This is a driver quality car (in the family and garaged/stored since 1987)...the paint is 25yrs old...so it does have it's imperfections like a couple fiberglass cracks around rear bumper (see pics), some bubbling and chipped areas (pics) and a 'repair' mistake by me on roof (mis-matched paint-needs buffing out)....again, see pics. With that said...this car's paint shines and never fails to garner attention...it has been parked next to mint vettes that are 4X the price yet still demands attention.... probably due to the color and sidepipes. Most people don't even notice the imperfections. The interior has new carpet and a 'Corvette' cassette deck with 4 Infinity speakers and Kenwood amp (power antenna works). The gauges work except for the clock (of course) and the water temp gauge is not connected to motor...easily fixed if so desire. The wipers and wiper door work...but the door may need a little push to close. Headlights open and close from lower switch...always work. Removable rear window. The AC does not work...condenser was removed prior to ownership... never an issue for me. The motor is a non-matching 327 from a 1965 Corvette...it was rebuilt in 97 for more power (have receipts). It has MSD electronic ignition for reliability (have original distributor). This car runs strong (fast)....always starts...even after storage. It has accumulated around 5,000 miles since the rebuild...definitely was a Sunday vehicle. It has a rebuilt rear end (355 posi), new front calipers, new master cylinder, and a new battery. The frame on this car is solid...the only rusted part is on the radiator frame support which bolts on the frame(replaceable)...not an issue for me...holds radiator just fine. An extra set of rims and tires go with this deal...they are wider...60's.
