| Very original 1968 427 tri-power 4 speed air Corvette. I've owned this car since 2001 but sold it 2 years ago to a good friend and now I'm selling it for him. I know this car inside and out and it is unrestored other than a paint job that is about 5 years old. This car is in excellent condition with no rust on frame. Original motor and transmission, however the engine block has been decked but all the date codes match up. Has a Muncie rock crusher, factory side pipes, power windows, all the gauges work including the clock. Radio works. Headlights work and come up with no problem. Air conditioner works but needs charged. I know the windshield wipers do not work, but never had it looked at. Interior is original and in great condition. Driver quality. Side pipes the chrome is peeling, but they are the original metal heat shields. There are a few nicks and chips in the paint. This car has never been in an accident. Wheels are 15x8 rally's, and I will include a pair of 15x10's also. Motor runs perfect. This car is very fast. Has the original Holley Carburetors. I believe this car to have the original miles. It was rarely driven by me, only a few times a year. It has always been stored in a garage. Also comes with the rear luggage rack. This car must be picked up near Joplin, MO. 47,928 miles from the odometer. Color codes from the trim plate. Assembly date is C1?. $15,000 and running. April 20, 2013. |
