| 1972 Corvette with 55,000 miles. Steel Cities gray. Documentation back to 1992. Original engine and transmission, matching numbers. As you can see in the pictures, no expense was spared in this frame off restoration. I have over 1000 hours just in my time, not counting other individuals on rebuilding the rear differential and steering box. Every component that connects to the frame was rebuilt, refurbished or replaced with NOS parts and, if I could not locate, I replaced with new. Any part that you see silver is real cad plated. Engine and transmission have new seals and gaskets only, because of low mileage. The car runs beautiful. All interior was refurbished but tried to keep as much original as possible. The seats are original. All gauges and lights work. Exterior paint is a 9 out of 10 due to minor scratches that occurred during re-assembly. Touch up was performed, but may need professional touch up to be perfect. August 28, 2009. |
