CORVETTE, RARE FACTORY 4-SPEED WITH FACTORY AC AND MATCHING #'S.
Corvette, 1979 Stingray body style. Factory 4-spd, cold-AC, PW, PDL, matching #'s, new brakes, new BF Goodrich tires, 75,450 original miles, Dark blue exterior, new dark blue leather seats and door panels. Spoilers-front and rear. Factory Aluminum slotted wheels. This is a factory CB car. Original radio and cb are still in car. Radio works, CB does not. Mechanically restored with most interior cosmetics completed as well. I have had the vehicle for four years and have been working on it since purchase. All lights, turn signals, brake, backup work as original. The clock does not work, but all other guages in cluster do. No leaks in the driveway when sitting. Have replaced valve cover gasket which had slight seapage due to being dry. AC system has been replaced or repaired and blows cold. I believe I am the third owner of vehicle and the person I bought it from had it for over 25 years in Florida. Drives nice and tight and corners excellent, shocks are excellent and tight. I have installed a new clutch and put new BF Goodrich TA Radials, P255-60-15's in the last few thousand miles. Wheel bearings have been repacked. All brake components, rotors, calipers, lines, pads, etc have been replaced including e-brake. The lower control arms have been replaced along with tie rod ends and some of the power steering components that were leaking due to dry gaskets. There is a new 1000 cold cranking amp battery with warranty. I have a couple original engine parts that will go with car, like the valve covers, air cleaner top and new hood insulation. They now sport chrome parts on them. Also, the exhaust system are the twin Targa mufflers with twin chrome tips. Nice sound but not too loud. This car is now very reliable transportation that will only go up in value if maintained. I would feel confident to drive it anyplace. It does need paint to be real special and to finish the on frame restoration. It looks great from 20 feet and I get lots of looks and thumbs up everyplace I go. The hard work has been done, it really just needs paint to show and go. Interior color and paint are correct trim codes. A dark blue metallic will really pop when you get around to it, but in the mean time, enjoy the ride with t-tops stored in the back in their vinyl cases. Jack and spare wheel are original, tire has been replaced to be functional due to it's 30 year age. LOW RESERVE, Great driver, a really fun classic Corvette with 4-speed.
