Actual Mileage Gorgeous Vette with Side Exhausts & Pwr.Steering". Interior:Gold with black inserts. Convertible top: Black. Engine:350cid V-8 (original). Horsepower:300. Compression ratio: 10:25-1. Ft. Pounds of torque: 380. Transmission:4/speed synchromesh (original). The Gentleman who sold us this Corvette had owned it for the past 9 years. It is a South Carolina car that has been really well kept and has never spent a night out doors. He drove it from South Carolina to Ft. Lauderdale and traded it. He also told us that in the 9 years he has owned this Vette, that the trip to South Florida was only the 3rd time he has ever driven the car in any rain. It has always been covered and garage kept. The mileage is actual miles..and is so stated on the title. This is the original factory matching numbers 350 engine in this Corvette. The numbers on the block match the last 6 digits of the cars serial number (724262). The carburetor has been changed to a modern Edelbrock and the linkage and 4 speed shifter are Hurst. The stock exhaust manifolds have been upgraded to tuned headers. The side exhausts are fully functional...they were black but he opted to have them chromed. This is a factory Tuxedo Black but the Gold paint scheme was added. Many road-racing cars were painted in this color scheme in the late 1960's and early 70's. The Gold inserts were added to the seats to nicely blend with the paint scheme. The Convertible top was replaced a couple of years ago and is in excellent condition. The body is laser straight and the bumpers have been re chromed. There are some very minor spider web cracks in the paint in the front. This Vette has Power Steering and also has it's original working AM/FM Delco Radio. The pop up headlights were replaced with the clear Plexiglas lenses that really make this car a stand out. This one of the best driving and running Corvettes we have ever offered...you could drive it any distance with complete confidence. The Goodyear steel belted tires with raised white letters are almost new (80%-85% tread left). Colors from the trim plate. 85,260 miles. April 29, 2008. |
