| Car history: |
| 1968 Chevrolet Corvette was purchased new by the seller in Illinois and was subsequently relocated to California, where it has reportedly remained since. Rear trailing arms were replaced in 1998. Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, voltage, and a clock. Numbers-matching 327ci V8 was factory-rated at 300-horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque when new. The seller reports that the engine has been rebuilt twice, the most recent of which occurred in 1998 and included boring the cylinder block .025. |
