| This car was drag raced heavily in the Toledo oh area in the early 70's until a cracked cylinder head roasted the motor. sat outside for the rest of the 70's untouched. bought by the second owner in 1980, disassembled and left that way until i purchased it in sept. 2009. the previous owner was killed in a car accident on june 5, 2009. 30,002 original miles documented as well as possible. most of the 68-only rare parts were robbed but replaced with oem or nos parts. 3.73 limited slip axle this car was job # 57 for the day july 11, 1968. the job # is written in grease pen under the passenger side floor pan, passenger side floor pan inside, passenger side metal panel behind seat and passenger side under the rear deck. |
