| 08/25/2014 Code correct Black exterior (19) and Black interior (192) T-Top. 350ci L-82 engine, automatic transmission, posi rear-end. Front and rear spoilers, power steering, power brakes, rear defrost, slotted aluminum wheels, cargo shade. This car's paint looks to be very good with a great shine. Exterior door handles are good, and the weatherstripping and taillights appear to be original. Slotted aluminum wheels and associated center caps are very good, tires showing near full tread depth. Headlamps raise and lower effortlessly. The interior of this 1979 Corvette looks to be very much original, good condition door panels, center console, dash pad, aftermarket stereo, newer carpets and floor mats. T-top bags and strap are included. The engine in this car shows casting number 480778, compression is balanced and runs strong. No A/C or emissions on this engine. (Original block, see enclosed image-looks to be 14016379, is available if desired). Features include T-tops, aluminum wheels, power windows, power locks, power antenna (nonfunctional), cargo shade, dual rear speakers, cruise control (nonfunctional/speedometer disabled), air conditioning (nonfunctional), sport mirrors, convenience group, rear defrost, leather seating surfaces. I purchased vehicle ~2 years ago (2012) and just do not have the time and space to finish the details this vehicle deserves. This is a cared for 1979 Corvette that can rival many of the higher priced, number matching, low mile vehicles. |
