| This is a complete numbers matching car! Original 327/350 horse L79 motor. I purchased it from a lady in NY that inherited it in 1987. She kept the car in storage and would take it each year to the same mechanic, have it completely looked over and ready for state inspection. Then she would park it back in storage. She drove it less than 1000 miles the 28 years she owned it. I have receipts that document this. I have owned it about a year and a half. In that time, I replaced rear spring, rebuilt carburetor, replaced fuel tank and cleaned all fuel lines. Runs and drives perfect! This is a true unmolested Corvette with all original panels and bonding strips. Very clean undercarriage with NO rust issues at all! Car was painted many years ago. Still shows well but has some minor blemishes and if you know Corvettes, you can see the original rivets on the nose of the car. Interior is very clean. Motor sounds amazing with the L79 350 horse cam. These were 11.0:1 compression and you can sure here it! Motor is very strong and is a blast to drive. One of the nicest driving Corvette's I have ever driven. All vacuum accessories work as they should. Factory 4 speed with Rare AC and Power Windows. Ac not working at this time. Only 9,936 Coupes were built in 1968. Needless to say, this is very collectable and a solid investment. I would rate this car overall as, extremely nice driver condition. Mechanically very sound with NO issues. Ended at $20,100 (RnM) on June 9, 2016. Ended at $22,100 on June 30, 2016. |
