| This is a numbers matching, 454 LS5. During the last 2 years that I've owned this car I have replaced all the mechanicals, from the radiator to the tail pipe. The car needs NOTHING. It drives and handles like it is brand new, mostly because of everything I've replaced over the last couple of years. All the wheel bearings, shocks, and suspension parts have been replaced. The original engine was rebuilt and balanced about 300 miles ago by an experienced Corvette rebuilder. The car runs perfectly, and is a beautiful example of a 1972 big block. The car never sees rain and has always been garage stored. The paint is in too good condition to consider repainting. This is not a show condition Corvette without a nick on the paint, however, it is not a 'driver' either. The car should really be seen to be appreciated, and I can assure all bidders that they won't be disappointed with the quality of the car's condition. This car has been babied and attention given to anything and everything it needed to make it as close to perfect as possible. The air conditioning works fine and blows cold air. Hoses, belts, and anything that was needed was replaced. The car's interior is in excellent shape and nohing is needed inside or out. Colors from the trim plate. 89,869 miles. February 26, 2008. |
