Car history:
1) Frame off restoration 2011/2012. California car, parked in garage from 1978 to 2010. Odometer read 57K, did not function so was replaced, only 400 miles added since restoration. T-top automatic, rebuilt turbo 400. Rebuilt 427 dyno-ed at 423HP. Power windows, power steering, power brakes. Original engine code was decked off in the past, re-stamped TO531IQ. Block casting #3935439 E138 (May 13, 1968), Heads are June 3, 1968, rear-end code AW May 17, 1968. Car kept as original as possible, several bins of original parts and documentation included. VIN number on frame is correct. Only known issues are a bad buff area with small crack under rear bumper, can see only if lying on ground, speedometer is off 5-8 mph. Car was our uncles and have several before, during and after restoration pictures. Have original build sheet from gas tank. Engine compartment: Engine board .30 over, new timing chain and gears, all new seals and gaskets, cam and lifters new, valve springs new, taillights, vacuum pump/hoses, wiper motor, power brake booster, power steering pump, alternator, fuel pump, oil pump, stock replacement pistons, rebuilt carburetor by JET (have original), new valve covers (have original), coil, MSD distributor added, fan, (have original), aluminum radiator. Interior: T-top seals, door weather-stripping, speedometer, clock rebuilt quartz, seat covers, carpet, original radio repaired. Exterior: Door handles, tail lights, windshield, passenger window, all chrome redone, vacuum headlights and wipers work like new, NOS corvette letters on rear, luggage rack, all other emblems replaced, paint is very nice but not perfect. Under car: calipers and rotors new, fuel lines replaced, new wiring harness, complete transmission rebuild, torque converter, all brakes lines, all 5 tires, exhaust pipes/mufflers, all 3 driveshafts had new u-joints, gas tank, all new bushings Non-AC car, rear window removable, original dash in great shape (no cracks), over 35K in restoration, always garaged, 337 miles since restore. Sold for $32,100 on May 1, 2017. BiN $39,995 but no longer available on June 21, 2017.
