| This car was purchased by me in May of 1990 from a family friend who was the 2nd owner. It had 31,433 miles on it when I bought it 18 years ago. It now has 38,985 miles on it. So you can see how much I have driven it! It has spent those 18 years under the custom protective cover in my garage. It was repainted with a $2,000 paint job just before I bought it. It has a brand new battery. New brake calipers, seals, and pads were installed June 20th of 2005. The power steering pump,control valve, cylinder, and hoses were replaced 5/25/05. I have replaced the original speakers and radio with a modern radio/cassette player and floor mats. I do have the original radio,speakers,and floor mats, they go with the car. Original window sticker, owner's manual, fuel economy rating, and other original papers are included. I am not knowledgeable about cars or mechanics. A friend of mine that has rebuilt his Corvette came to look at mine. He was surprised at the condition. I believe he said on most of these the door hinges or seals are usually rusted away. Mine were not even dusty! It starts and runs great! The AC works fine. The only thing wrong is there is a crack in one of the T Top windows. It never bothered me. I believe it is about $1400 to buy 2 new T Top windows. I have tried to take this into account in my price. |
