| Wonderful driving 1971 Corvette Roadster. White with blue interior and new black top. Paint and interior is older but in very good condition. Auto, A/C, ps, pb, tilt , telescoping steering wheel and an aftermarket radio that works. Older restoration, appears to have been a body off. New brakes, exhaust, suspension and tires. Car is very tight and drives like a dream. All gauges and lights work with exception of left turn signal. Thought it was bulb but wasn't. Still tracing problem. There is a small vacuum leak in headlight bucket system. The driver side is very slow to close after turning lights off. Engine cranks and runs great. It is the 350 with only 270 hp. These are the years that the government pressured manufactures to reduce speed and add smog control. It is fast enough but not like the sixties. I tried every way I know how (and so did the guy that appraised the car), to read the number on the engine block but cannot. They were not impressed very well. The numbers that you can read match up so I assume that it is the matching engine but can't swear to it. The car sure looks like a matching number. Mileage is showing 04176 and I'm sure it's probably 104,176. There is no title as Alabama did not start titling vehicles until 1975. You cannot get a title for a vehicle before 1975. Car appriased for $27,500, copy available. Asking $24,000.00 or best offer. Buyer is responsible for arranging and paying pick up/transportation expenses.
