This is a 1975 Corvette Convertible 4-speed. It is a non-air car. It was restored starting in 2002, it took me three and half years to get it to where it could be driven. It has the best parts I could get to go on it. Stainless brake lines and brake calipers, new fuel lines, I guess the best way to describe this car is it's a new car. Everything on this car is new or newly rebuilt. I was planing to travel the US in this car but my health has went south so the car has to go. Part of having a car like this is working on it and keeping it up, I've worked as a mechanic all my life but now that is over. No more working for me. The car has the number matching engine block to the VIN and I would say that the transmission and diff. match also but I never did check them. The engine has been bored 30 over, it has new flat top pistons, 350/350 cam, GM Performance Intake and a new Street Avenger Holly, plus two new JEG's Heads. The transmission had the synchronizer's replaced and it shifts like a new one. The rear had the seals replaced and it does fine. The car runs and does pretty good for what it is. On some of the trips I did get to take it on it got around 20 MPH on the Interstate, not bad for a 350. I've also got the old parts that came of the car. Like the intake, smog pump and some of the paperwork when the car sold new. It sold new at Pierce Chevrolet in Rhode Island. I will post a picture of the paperwork. I also have the original frame but it's rusted out pretty bad but it's not bent and could be restored. I think Corvette Central has the tubing and gussets to repair it. I also have a bunch of other parts I will let go with it also. Like new distributor caps and buttons, Two electronic modules that go in the distributor, plus more parts. I also have a Black Vinyl Hardtop, it's new inside and out. The tires are T/A Radials and have I'd say around 7,000 miles on them. The paint is called Medium Saddle and the interior is Medium Saddle. The paint is around 6 years old, it looks good but it has some marks where I've driven it.. The windshield is cracked on the drivers side from a rock I got on the road. It has a new convertible top, it's about a year and half old. The rag top frame needs to be adjusted also. The windows don't fit the weatherstripping as it should. Most of what this car needs is little things like that. I got sick shortly after getting it to where I could drive it and have been fixing some of the little things as I could but I've reached the point to where I don't need to be working on something like this. If your really interested I live in Upper East Tennessee, outside Kingsport, Tn. I feel the car would drive anywhere in the country but I can use my brothers truck and trailer to haul it to you for the fuel bill. I'll leave it at this for now but if anyone that is interested has any questions, please call me at 423-384-3478 and ask for Alvin. I also have more pictures I can send and will take any that you would like to see. Plus, please don't bid if your not going to take the car, as per my doctor I don't have time for games. Thanks. There are more pictures of this car on my facebook page. Search Alvin T. Case.
