Code correct Corvette Bronze exterior, Code correct Black vinyl interior, Black convertible top. Numbers matching 300hp 327ci engine, automatic transmission, posi rear-end. You can search high and low, but you will be hard-pressed to find a '68 convertible this nice with this many options. The paint on this car is stunning, save for the common paint problem areas on this generation. There are three spots near the headlights that have bubbled up a bit, and there is also a small stress crack in the front clip near the driver's headlight. Chrome bumpers are in excellent condition and appear to be new, as are the chrome door handles. Weatherstripping is also very nice and appears to be newer, along with the exterior emblems. The convertible top shows hardly any signs of wear, but unfortunately the plastic rear window has become brittle and has cracked in the bottom left corner. This car wears rally wheels with older trim rings and center caps showing some haziness. Tires are Goodyear Eagle GTII and show nearly 90% tread remaining. Interior shows seat covers in very good condition with no visible flaws, and excellent door panels, dash pad, center console, and steering wheel. Gauges are very nice as well with minimal fading and cloudiness, and even the clock works! GM seatbelts are in place and function well. Correct loop style carpet is also installed and looks great. Engine compartment is very clean and appears mostly stock, although the ignition shielding is missing. Carburetor is a correct-appearing Rochester Quadrajet, which sits atop a GM intake. The a/c compressor shows a correct label, but appears to have been applied upside down. This car comes equipped with air conditioning, power windows, power brakes, power steering, AM/FM radio.
