Miles: 1,453 miles Matching #'s 327 cu in V8 engine 350 hp 4 Speed Manual - Close Ratio Trans. AM/FM radio Goodyear tires
A car like this is what most of the Corvette lovers are looking for to add to their collection, a matching numbers 327, a 4 speed gearbox and a fantastic red paint job, it is sure a very nice and ideal way to have vintage Corvette to add to your future.
Thanks to the previous owners of this car, there has been very little wear at all on the car. From door jams, and anywhere you look it's covered in it's original code 2974AA Rally Red paint. Chrome bumpers were still in fashion in 1968, and accent the delicate look of the grill work on the front and a subtle duck tail spoiler out back, give the car a sleek look so popular to this generation Vette.
The Corvette aluminum wheels are wrapped in Goodyear tires. These wheels are not original to the car. The previous owner added a little striping, nothing too obvious, but a little extra. There are 2 sets of T-Tops with the car, the tinted glass ones you see here and a solid painted set as well. There is also a car cover.
Inside there is the correct black bucket seat interior, also according to the seller have never been restored or touched. The seats offer that comfortable seating surface and keeping you in place for those times when you feel like driving a little too fast. The steering wheel is leather wrapped. The dash gauges are all functional as well as the set of auxiliary gauges in the center console.
The A/C is currently not working but the AM/FM radio is functional to rock out loud while driving this amazing car. The chrome knob for the 4-speed tends to fall easily to the shape of your hand when driving.
The current owner of the Corvette aquired the car from a relative. That person had the car since the early 1980s, and kept the car in a climate controled garage. He only drove the car for about 100 miles a year for the past few years.
The engine is the original engine, numbers matching 327 cubic inch V8 engine, rated at 350 horsepower. The thundering block is dressed in chrome and the air intake lets you know the engine and horsepower. Be ready to get in this car and get going on the road with your new 1969 Corvette. The chrome accents are not original to the car as well as the hose covers and there is an MSD ignition, but we have the original distributor.
The engine has not been rebuilt as far as we know, but the previous owner has maintained it extremely well. You can see the conditon of the under carriage. It is extremely clean. |
