| This is a very restored, mildly modified, beautiful, very strong, number matching big block (427 CI/390 HP)1968 Corvette Convertible with 78K miles. I have owned for 12 years. I'm selling it because I have other interest now and it is just time to move on. Some of the modifications: =Hooker headers and side pipes (side pipes were not a factory option in '68). =Dealer installed luggage rack. =Electric fuel pump =K&N air filter =Modern radial tires =Stainless Steel brake calipers and lines =Heater Hose shut off =BODY MODS *Rear Exhaust outlets filled *Body smoothed (original 1968 body "fiberglass" was not at all smooth) *Gaps, between door and body, and hood and fenders, made equidistant. (these were not always a good fit in '68) *Modern paint, base and clear coat, applied in original LeMans Blue. *Wheel wells under coated. Some of the Restorations =All body chrome re-chromed or replaced =Door panels replaced =Door window seals and cushions replaced =New heater core =New parking brake console =New shifter shaft and boot =New heater control =New door weather striping =New radiator Other Notes: = Very few options: no A/C, power steering, power brakes, nor power windows = Original clock works intermittently = Original radio just quit = Have to hold turn signal up for right turn Lots of receipts |
